Planting anywhere and everywhere in the power of God. (Is. 61:1-4)
Ordination of Planters
FSI Oversight Team
Ordination represents the steps we take to prepare our planters before we ordain and lay hands on them to be sent out. We have a 21-step process that we use to develop a planter's profile, including aspects such as ministry & work history, marriage assessment, how God called you to planting, and strategic action plans. Additionally, each planter has to pass various mini-training certifications.
We have deliberately made this process comprehensive based on the biblical qualifications given to us by Paul, the Epistles, and the New Testament.
Our burden is to follow the Antioch model (Acts 13:2) in which the best are sent out. When God sent us his son, he sent us the best. Likewise, as regards planters who become the tip of the spear and the face of the church in its start up season, it's imperative we give the world the best possible picture of Jesus.
Most planters already come to us with a solid level of training and ministry experience, so our ordination represents the final stages of preparation.
